Hey Dave, the car looks great in the pics. I think the price is a little high for a base motor coupe without A/C and with some minor cosmetic mods. No big deal really, because if the car is solid and has documentation to support the original mileage claim, it certainly won't depreciate from here.
Check out www.c3vettes.com and try to come hook up with our crew once the weather warms up around here. Let me know if you need any help with anything on the car, I've got a 4 post lift that you're welcome to use any time you'd need it.

Yep, Apex. Drop me an IM when you get the car here, and you can bring it over to do a thorough inspection on the lift. It looks like a very nice car, I'm sure you're really excited.
The rear valence is a replacement that is designed to fill in the rear exhaust cutouts. You can see the seams in this picture which show that it was not an orignal side pipe car. Also, the fan shroud is a stock unit for the 18" aluminum radiator with surge tank.

Hope it goes OK for you in this deal. I remember a few years ago some "issues" with a few C3s from "Hawk's Corvettes". I'm suprised nobody else said anything, but then again most people do not have the "memory" that I have.
Looks like a sharp '69-let us know how it turns out, good or bad
my father wants to get the wheels from me for his 67 GTO. i would like original rally's...seeing those tt2's on a few cars here get me thinking about those as well.
ill probably keep the crager s/s for awhile though. I always loved the look of those wheels, but prefer them on early 2nd gen camaros.
hopefully no bad issues with hawks corvettes on this deal
i read their feedback on 68 cars they have sold on ebay and they seem willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy. i'll post on my satisfaction(or dissatisfaction) when i get the car and see it firsthand.
thanks, Dave
I lived in the Raleigh area for over 30 years before loss of job forced me to move. Lots to do there with the C3 club and the cruise-ins at Grill57. I'll be at some of them so looking forward to meeting you and your new baby. My 69 is orange but I just bought a black 65 that I'm working on now.
Black cars are a curse - there's nothing prettier when they are clean but it's a PIA to keep em that way!
I have an original 69 almost exactly like the one that you just bought. I have owned the car since it was 6 mos old and have really loved the car. Just can't beat a black shark with side pipes. Hope you enjoy !!
