Keisler 5 speed

Has anyone installed a Keisler without removing the cross member? This is going into a 72 with a 4 speed.

It has been done by many. I choose to cut my cross member and it makes the install much easier. I have a blow sheild so I don't know if I could do it without cutting it but I can have it in or out in a short time with the removable member.

I installed mine without cutting the crossmemeber. definitly a two man job but it wasn't too hard at all.

installed my keisler 5 spd. without pulling engine, and with the crossmember in place, by myself. the hardest part is the roll pin for the shifter. but im swapping engines real soon and will be making the crossmember removable. suggest you do the same. zwede has the best info on this. be sure to follow keisler installation instructions. dont go thinking you can installl the regular way. you cant, i know.
