Hi
I bought a 74 that is in need of a paint job, (want to restore it to the original yellow) what is the best way to strip off all the old stuff to start from scratch?
Has anyone done this that can offer some tips?
Thanks
JIM
Not to highjack the thread... but GDaina's response brings up a question...... does it pose the same threats to the fiberglass as a solvent based stripper?
I started the stripping process with solvent based stripper...no harm to the glass, though I did one panel at a time. Some may chirp in and claim the solvent based chemical stripper may soften the glass, I've not experienced that problem using either type stripper.
