Painting a C3
Hi
I bought a 74 that is in need of a paint job, (want to restore it to the original yellow) what is the best way to strip off all the old stuff to start from scratch?
Has anyone done this that can offer some tips?

you can use a water based chemical stipper (Bix..I used that on my 68), or a razor blade, or sand paper, or have it media blasted...

I started the stripping process with solvent based stripper...no harm to the glass, though I did one panel at a time. Some may chirp in and claim the solvent based chemical stripper may soften the glass, I've not experienced that problem using either type stripper.
