Default From 0 - 60 in less than 2 second...

My oil pressure went from 0 - 60 psi in less than 2 seconds when I cranked up the engine after installing my new braided oil pressure hose

Had a problem with the old hose which kinked and made the gauge read zero psi oil pressure...

Took another drive with the new setup today... Both, engine and transmission work great.. I'm still afraid of punching the gas too hard because of my issues with the differential...

I know how much power I'm making but I won't post it...

The only thing I'm going to post is track results...

Just run the specs of my engine through a dyno program and you will get an idea what numbers I'm running
(even though dyno programs don't really take porting work into consideration...

I'm actually planning on getting even more HP out of the engine.. I want to get a Edelbrock Super Victor 2825 (CNC ported) which should add another 20 HP or even more.. According to AR Racing, the Victor Jr. (even ported) has way too small runners for the heads that I'm running and recommends the Super Victor and also to have my carb flowed etc which should give me another 10 - 15 HP...

Make sure you get a better video camera than the POS phone you're currently using.

Your old motor nearly pegs my guage at 80

no kidding, I took a valve cover off one time to check the valve lash. I started it up and you should've seen the river of oil flowing up out of the rockers.

I told you when the rear was down to take the cover off and see what's going on in there. Maybe something minor, why it seems to lock-up once-in-awhile. And you tell me you did not want to have to buy another gasket for the cover . You just probably wouldn't know what you are looking at once you opened it up or the tools to fix it (if it was something simple)

I have given up You call me and ask me advice & questions and when I answer you, you have these excuses why you don't do it.

Still friends But I am not anymore.

I think you're afraid to "get on it"...

You are using 20W50 oil. That's the reason for the high pressure... With lower viscosity, the pressure will drop!

I'm not going to mess with the differential.. I don't understand about posis at all.. I leave it to those specialized in differentials to check and diagnose them... I'm 100% sure that something inside broke.. There's no way that a healthy differential would've acted the way it did just before I pulled the old engine... I have a new differential coming and don't want to risk that I would cause any more problems with it so that I wouldn't be able to drive the car anymore until the 12-bolt gets delivered..

Maybe more since we're not at 1500 feet above sea level. Then again, the increased humidity might negate that gain.

This weekend however with the cold temps, who knows

He can't race with that broken rear in the car. Will be another 5 weeks before the SPACE SHUTTLE PROOF rear will be finished.
