How does the 76 and 77 radiator differ, and does the 76 rad fit in the 77?
I can't imagine it being any different fit but I leave it to the experts.
Thanks
Evan
Evan:
Three radiators were installed on 76 Corvettes. GM #3030199 was a carryover from 73-75 used on LS4, L82 and L48. It was replaced with 3035558 for L48 with A/C. GM # 3035856 was used when a C3 was equipped with L82 & A/C or the trailer package...this was a heavy duty radiator.
A tage can be found on original units down on the passenger side that will have been stamped with part number and date code.
The location of the transmission cooler and the lower hose are different. The upper hose connection is different but in the same location. Unless you want to buy new hoses and transmission lines I would go with the one that is like the one being replaced.
