Confused on 1981 Trim code.......
Code=672
Depending upon what website I refer to, it's either cinnabar/leather, or dark red/leather.
I have seen numerous discrepancies related to this year model code. Some don't even have the code listed.
Anybody with a bible that can check it for me?

OKaaaay. If it's a Bowling Green Vette, get a window sticker from the Museum and let them decide!!
Mike
I bet BG would call it Cinnabar.

St. Louis vette!!
See my dilema..........I'm having a trim identity crisis!
However, I believe it's cinnabar. It seems to match some of the seat and carpet colors that I have now. One place even listed it as cinnamin.
I wonder what NCRS says? Anyone know?

Just noticed a thread over on another forum along the same theme. States 672 is cinnabar and 742 is the dark red.

I wonder if BG made a 672 Cinnabar interior? Could it be that StLouis had Cinnabar, and BG had dark red? Somebody solve this puzzle please!

Call a vendor like Ecklers or Corvette Central, maybe they can tell you the difference.
