I know that the printed circuit for my speedo/tach can be purchased new, but has anyone ever repaired a small break in one of the printed circuits. It has just been rubbed off the plastic right where the bulb holder makes contact with the end of the circuit . thanx Brent

Can be easily repaired, if you know what you are doing. I don't, but a buddy of mine does. He repairs breaks in PC board traces all the time. He also makes (etches) his own custom circuit boards. He says repair is not that hard. You need someone with good low temp soldering skills and an understanding of circuit board traces.
If the copper just 'rubbed off the plastic', then just use a LITTLE 5 min epoxie to glue it down being carefull to not get any on the top surface. I used a toothpick to apply and spread the glue. You can also solder the copper if broken off, and then glue it down. Don't use too much heat. While you are at it, inspect the rest of the board carefully, especially around the edges to see if it is de-laminating also. Just glue it if it is. Unless the board is really bad, no problem repairing.
You can do this, see my post above. I see you are also in Canada. If you do not feel comfortable doing it, just mail it to me and I will do it for you. Just pay the postage. PM me if you want and I will give you my address.
