The Rings Commonly used to prevent carbon build-up in the compression ring grooves are called:

A.Keystone Rings
B.Oil Rings
C.Rectangular rings
D.Moly-coated Rings

Well, not sure I know the answer, but I assume it's the bottom (3-piece) ring you're referring to. It's my understanding the top ring is for compression, 2nd ring is for oil, and 3rd ring is to clean the chamber of oil (and carbon as well, or so I presume).

And "rectangular ring", isn't that an oxymoron?
