Default HELP!Unknown electrical connector-what is it??

On the automatic shifter for my TH350 is the "shifter gear switch" with the neutral safety switch and the backup light switch. Parallel to this switch a electrical connector is clamped to it. It's not the connector with the purple/white wire (that's the neutral safety thingy). This special connector has two leads and is fed by four wires. Two wires coming from the shifter gear switch and two running from the connector to the harness. That means per lead there are two wires.
Anybody knows what I'm talking about? Does this make sense?
I have a picture at home made during disassembly 4 years ago but it shows the connector disengaged
Thanks for any input!! Markus

Better post a pic, the only thing I can think of is the backup switch, mine had 2 seperate harnesses, one pink and green wire for the backup lights and pink/white and pink for the Park Neutral.

I have my console off now. What color are the wires?

What TT said, probably park-neutral. Do you have a good wiring diagram?
