Default Rear Re-Build Update (Pics)

Just an update on a previous post, when I started my rear suspension rebuild. AND...for you picture hounds...a few shots of the almost completed azz end. (no calipers yet)
Rebuild consisted of all new poly bushings, stainless hardware (where applicable) P-Brake rebuild (stainless), new shock mounts, KYB Shocks (special for monospring) T-Arm shims (Stainless) and sway bar links. The only thing I couldn't do myself was the spindle bearings. I sent the complete spindle assembly out to Vansteel for the rebuild. Oh yeah...clean & paint everything. That's a base coat of black POR-15 with Eastwoods chassis black topcoat. Silver POR-15 was also used. The U-joints were fairly new...so I left them in. I am now ready to finish up the brakes which I started a few months ago. I found out I have big block differential yolks (uses straps instead of of U bolts to hold U-joints), and 74-77 larger diameter strut rod ends. Also have a heavy duty 1" aftermarket rear sway bar. Gee...previous bubba did SOMETHING right. Oh yeah....al the horror stories about trailing arm removal.....ARE TRUE... believe them!!!
Sorry 'bout the big pics....can't resize at work!
Eddie

Thanks for all your kind words guys. It was a lot of work...and a great learning expierence.

Z-Man: Sold the 77 last summer at Bloomington....kept my Forum name.

Gtr1999: Thanks for all your efforts and info.

Dan (Vansteel) Thank you too for all the great customer service.

NHVette: Stock calipers are rebuilt, painted, and ready for install this week. All new stainless hard lines & hoses are in, but I just can't afford stainless calipers right now so these will have to do.
