My transmission kit is on the way. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Now I have to figure out where to weld that little tab for the clutch linkage.

Why weld when you can buy a bolt on tab that came with the 80-81 model?

Go with the 80 -81 bolt on tab avail at Corvette central for about 12 $.

It is the TKO 600. I didn't know there was a bolt on tab. This is good, since I can't weld. I'm going to contact Corvette Central right away. Thanks alot for the info.

I forgot to ask. Does it matter that I would be bolting the tab into a 76?
