I bought a set of headers and would like to know the proper way to install my plug wire. Can i buy a regular 8mm set for a 350 ? because right now i have manifold and corvette accel 8mm and they are so long i had to use tierap to keep from hanging under the car. And i do like look of the wire running along the side of the valve covers.

You can go on the MSD website and look at their plug wire chart: They list wire lengths and boot styles for every wire set they sell. You can thus determine your desired wire length and boot type to clear your headers and find the set that suits your routing requirements perfectly. With the part number, punch it into the Summit part number listing and order the set.
den,
I have the same thing. Accel 8.8 set from mid-americs. They are way too long on certain cylinders. I bought a terminal kit from jegs (i think) and am planning to shorten up the ones I don't like. I'll post new pics when I get done.

Your engine look nice. I use to have that same edlebrock filter but every time i removed it, i found dirt inside the foam element on base plate. So i trew it away and i when back with my original air filter. I will probably change it to a chrome one.
theres 2 tabs on the looms and they match up w/holes in valve cover so u a put a set screw(comes w/ wingnuts)(or use valve cov bolts) thru your valve cover high enough to go thru the looms and then tighten the wing nuts to the setscrews. very simple and efficient
