Weiand Intake
Check it out. It is hugh. I think it is a race type intake and way to big for street use. What do you guys think? It needs to be cleaned up but there are no stripped threads or problems that I can see.

It needs to be cleaned up. As far as I can tell it has no problems. And the price was right so I took it off the guys hands. He is a dirt tracker and that is why I think it is too big for the street.

Red, I haven't really given it too much thought about running it on my engine. I went to Summits webpage and it lists its operating range as way up there. 2800 to 7800. I have an XE262 cam and it usually runs out of breath around 5400 RPM. I am not so sure putting this intake on my car would be of benefit for me.
I am no expert, but I would say that that cam would perform better with a dual plane intake...I would think that you would lose power with that single plane. maybe, maybe not...try it out and see
I'm not sure what heads your running, but unless they are huge (215cc or bigger), I would not run it. I beleive that intake will need the felpro 1206 gasket. I'm running the 7525 (can use 1205 gaskets) and it works great on the street and fits under my stock sb hood. The runner/port size is about the same as a Performer RPM.

Do they still make that 7525 intake?? I can't seem to find one listed?

Nope. I found one on ebay for about $50. They are harder to find than any of the other intakes, but not impossible.
tsw, I am running Trick Flow 23 degree heads. I don't believe they are 215cc heads. Seems like they were 195 if I remember correctly
Eddie, We are running the same heads. Yeah, they are 195cc. The 7525 was a perfect match for the trick flows. The intake ports are just slightly smaller than the heads. I saw no need to port match them.
As Gkull said, you'll need much bigger intake runners in the heads to use the 7530 or 7532 intake.
