I used the red hose on the WD-40 can and cut that to 3/4 length then superglued it to the end of the bigger hose used on the FRITZ brand popcorn ceiling paint can, total length is 11 inches and since the fritz sprayer hose spreads towards the end it does not clump up as it did with the thin hose alone.

The engine looks great! I am planning this project in the spring, not sure my patience will hold up. Tell me what is the process that you used to clean oily residue off the engine to ensure maximum paint adhesion.

Simply I did all the fiberglass work then liberally used degreaser (in a spray can type) then afterwards used the degreaser from Home Depot (ZEP degreaser sold in gallon jug then you dilute to 50/50 mix)
