Intake torque specs
Could someone tell me the torque specs for the intake manifold (SB 350). Thanks

Cast Iron is about 30 with sealant on the bolts. Aluminum is 25 with sealant on the bolts.

35Pounds. But good luck getting a torque wrench in there.

I have a 73 454. I checked my Chiltons book and it has 30 ft.lb.

I just put on a Weiand Stealth and they spec'd it at 30ft/lb w/SS ARP bolts.

Too true. Especially with EGR and hot air choke. Just gotta use a box wrench and dead reckoning...

I use a a torq wrench on the ones I can then take a 3/8 box end with a pipe slipped over it and put it on one bolt I used the torq wrench on and move it every so slightly then try and use that feel on the ones I cannot get the torq wrench on, not the most accurate but I figure it is better then nothing. BTW Using the pipe as a breaker bar ext with the small wrench allows a much better fell then just using the box end wrench itself.
