Does anybody know what to check for when your windshield wiper squirters quit squirting? My 1969 has a problem when you push the wiper button to squirt water on the windshield. It makes a "clack-clack-clack" louder than normal and no water comes out. I checked the triple "O" ring and it's not torn. The pump makes a noise but doesn't pick up any water from the reservoir. Any ideas...? All help is appreciated. Thanks......
Its possible you may have to prime the system, although I could be wrong, I have the exact problem mine clanks as well, but no water. I will tag along with your post, as I am curious as well!

first of all i would look into that clack clack clack seems like the pumps loose-if thats not it try changing the pump(you really got to tighten them screws up good, i thought mine were tight and a mechanic tightened them up even more)
The squirters are now fixed. No clogs in the hoses, the mounting screws were all tight. It was just a worn triple o-ring. I used some swimming pool lube (like very, very thick vaseline) on the o-rings and that did the job. Thanks guys....
very smart of you to use the swimming pool lube, i use it on o rings also and have a pool so i know its advantages- stops leaks and regular vasoline will cause the o rings to ''blow up'' twice there size!!---.the clanging was probably the screws have to be torqued pretty good,,glad it worked out for you.
