Default Squirter Help!!

The windshield squirter on my '69 quit squirting. The pump makes a "clack-clack-clack" noise which is louder than normal but no water is being sucked out of the reservoir or coming out the wiper water lines. I check the triple o-ring and it isn't torn. Any ideas what to check next? Does this sound like an internal o-ring leak?

Have you checked for leaks in the hose from the reservoir to the pump? Are the one way valves still good? The pump will make a lot of noise if there's no fluid in it and it's pumping air.

Have you tried filling the pump chamber with water to see if the piston seal is good?

I will take the hose out of the reservoir and pour some water into it while holding it up in the air. Gravity should get the water into the pump. Great idea. Thanks.

Force fluid into the hose and pump ..use a bulb syringe or old turkey baster.. your pump may not be creating enough vacuum to draw liquid out of the reservoir.
