Default Urgent Help Needed!! Timing problem

i just removed all the wires from my sparkplugs to change them while i was replacing the motor mounts and installing headers But I forgot to place the wires to remember the timing location or whatever the hell its called.
What is the timing diagram, what wire goes where from the distributor to the sparkplugs

Typically, the distributer stud facing closest to the front of the engine will be to cylinder #1. then go clockwise around from there in accordance with the firing order. If you are off 1 of those studs, you'll have to turn the distributer a little to get it to be timed right, or you can take out the #1 spark plug, make sure that cylinder is at Top dead center, take off the distributer cap, the distributer will be pointing at the correct location for the #1 cylinder, then following firing order for the rest of the cyilinders.

good luck!

As Ruby76 suggested, find TDC (compression stroke) & remove cap, rotor will point to #1. Follow firing order clockwise from #1.

Lesson we've probably all learned or will learn at some point .... mark #1 on cap and label plug wires.... saves alot of time & aggravation!
