Default Cooling Question - non-Vette

Have a radiator question that I hope one of our resident cooling experts can answer. This is non-corvette, but this is where the experts are.

I am looking at doing a project car and to keep the hood low was wondering at how steep of an angle the radiator could be mounted? Can it be leaned forward 45 dgrees or more? Or would it work better if it was slanted back?

That depends on what angle the air comes in, for best performace you want the air flow to be as perpendicular as possible with the radiator.

So if the radiator was leaned forward at 45 degrees, then the air should be comming upward at 45 degrees?
