buying a 1969 Corvette
I have just purchased a frame on restored 1969. This is my first corvette. Can anyone tell me of any problems I should lookout for?

Cart before the horse?
You should've "looked out for" the problems prior to purchase. Check the frame for rust. That's the biggest potential ($$$) problem.

The problems will show up soon enough.....some may be small, some may be big, but whichever they happen to be, they can be fixed, so enjoy it......

Be careful of local auto theft rings selling salvage titled vettes as body on restored originals. Particularly 69's.

What they said. Since you've already bought it, just drive it and see what shows up, then post it here & we'll help you fix it. A "body-on" type restoration is a dicey thing, since you really can't know how much has been restored or if the frame is solid, but you done dove in already, so just drive it like you stole it and see what falls off.
That said, check the brakes, first thing. Corvette brakes tend to leak--look for brake fluid on the back sides of the tires and wheels.

Look for rust on the windshield header. If when you hit a bump, rust falls, you have a problem.
