Carb. Option for 72 BB
Looking for opinions and suggestions...
Utilizing my stock 454 Motor. Factory Heads, Factory intake.
Do I clean up the old factory 4 barrel or is there a Holley, ect available that will bring this BB back to life. Upgraded the Dist. to MSD w/Tach drive. Sanderson Headers. and a mild Comp cam upgrade.

Hi: 2 good choices for a good aftermarket carb:
1) an edlebrock 750CFM for that BB with the mods U describe, would do wonders for it.
2) a little more pricey, but way cool looking is a Barry Grant Street Demon carb.
BTW: what 454 do U have? LS5 or LS6?

Assuming an LS5, your stock intake is for a Qjet so your best option is probably the carb already on it. You didn't provide much info on the cam other than "mild" and based on that I doubt that you'd see much benefit from more carb. If you're looking to "bring it back to life" your first step should be to find out why it died and fix that.
