engine color

Hey, we are getting our engine rebuilt, and our mechanic asked us the other day what color we wanted the engine .. its a 1968, sparkle green w/ black stripes convert

what do you guys think

If you have iron ones, paint it chevy orange!

I'm gonna go with chevy orange when I drop a new engine in there, but I've seen someone paint his engine purple not too long ago which I really liked.

I'm not fond of blue nor black by the way.

I have a Daytona Yellow 1970 so I painted my rebuilt 350 yellow. It has chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. With the chrome and the black engine compartment it turned out pretty good. Be creative and have fun with it!
