Default Bolt Pattern

What is the bolt pattern for 75 corvette rims. What rims will fit my car without adapters. Thanks

15"X8", 5 on 4.75"(meaning 5 holes with a bolt pattern spacing of 4.75". Backspacing is 4".

The bolt pattern cannot change. Basically, on the 5 lug design, what they do is measure from one of the lugs, to a line straight across the two opposite lugs. In other words, your car, as well as most old Chevy's will have the same bolt pattern. What may change is the backspacing and width. How wide is the 16 inch rim you are looking at?

Either 15x8 or 16x8 the rims I have on there now are 15x8. The rims I have need to be redone paint striper got on them and there are just alumin and I want them to shine more. So I am thinking about new rims or If there are any suggestions of how to polish up my rims now after striping the clear coat it would be appriciated. to see my rims check my pic below

They can be polished. What's the surface like? Is it smooth, rough or machined?

The biggest problem with getting rims to fit the Corvette is caliper clearance. My AR-136's have about 1/8" of clearance between the spokes and the calipers.

the surface is machined. I was told that you could take some 1500 oe 2500 grit sand paper and smooth it out then polish and clear over it. I have tried it on one spot on the center cap and I am not please with the way it looks. I guess that it is kinda hard to redo the machined finshed rims.

Most any GM musclecar has the same bolt pattern. C1-C5 wheels will all work, but you may need spacers with some of the C4-C5 wheels. I have 16" IROC wheels on mine (4 fronts) with no spacers.
