i called there today,,in order to do this someone has to be a ''group leader'' and tell them exactly how many people will be there--it is a 2 day min for $60-- to do this group thing,,,they will need all the money turned in at one time for the group of corvette forum members attending,,they also need a list of all the names & addresses of our group.. like i said its $60.00 for 2 day pass and $80.00 for all three--- she also said they have the bugs worked out this year as far as getting in and the road tour is supposed to be the best yeat with more sights to see(it usually is a real nice ride in the country,,2 yrs ago someone set up a ''christmas tree'' and we all took turns stopping and roasting our tires!!!!)-- if you do it the way she wants the'll have a sign out for the corvette forum,,and some other fringe benifits because its considered a ''club''---me personally i dont like the 2 day thing,, one days enough for me,,,unless you want to attend the classes they have then 2 days is a must
Well-aware of how the existing club parking works, and what we're sorta hoping for is a special "modified" version of that concept. I don't know if that can happen or not...but as of right now, not even 24 hrs of posting this poll in 7 forums here, we already have 50 "definitely attending" cars....as you can surely guess, by the time of the show, this number will easily be in the triple digits.
With those kinds of numbers, we may have enough "power" to get some sort of special deal out of them. Maybe, maybe not...but it's what we'd like to see, and the reason I put this poll out there.
Thanks for the support!!

Do people to attend the event even if your car is not in mint condition? Is it supposed to be NCRS? Mine has non-original paint that is just average, and the engine bay is somewhat messy as well.
There are a lot of just average vettes there, and then there are a lot of show quality vettes as well. You don't have to "show" your car to attend, this is a great event with something for everyone.
it's $17.00 per person to get in this year. There is a hugh corvette show in joliet,il. in july on the 17th at a local chevy dealer details to follow next month. free admission for spectators.

are you talking about the bill jacobs show thats held on the 20th of march?? or the one at rt 66 speedway?
This poll has been posted in all generational sections, as well as the Great Lakes and National events forum.
Polls have been up for less than 2 days, and so far, a total of 72 have indicated they are 'definitely going".
I'd like to see that number exceed 100 before I contact Bloomington Gold officials about this. The larger the group we have, the better our chances of this idea becoming reality.
Thanks to all who have voted already. Keep the votes coming. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to bump it up.
