vinyl paint on metal ?
I am redoing my vinyl interior parts with vinyl paint and I need to also do the steering column parts and the ashtray door on the console . The difference being that they are made of white metal , not vinyl. Can they be painted with the vinyl paint so they will match the surrounding parts ? Thanx Brent

Yes, maybe......
It worked for me, but I gave the steering column a good clean up with thinners first. I used VHT vinyl spray and did it over a year ago and although I haven't yet driven the car, there are no signs of it coming off. I get in and out of the car a lot while working on it and it doesn't budge. I'd say go for it, but make sure the metal parts are clean first.

I agree, used it on the column and horn cap. just wipe down with a cleaner and primed (Kraylon metal primer). Let it dry for a few days before working around it.
It will scratch easy untill cured.
