Danny: You have probably already seen it, but Ecklers has a mahogany wood steering wheel that is a direct bolt on for your 1974 for $139.99; item no. 39428. It has the factory style polished alum. spokes.
Yep, saw it. Doesn't have the classic "rivets" and is kind of oversized with a polished rounded grip. Looks like something you'd see on a new Lexus or Mercedes.

Again, "to each his own", BUT I agree with partrick73, that is a nice wheel, if you have a tan interior and looking for a wood steering wheel. That look also fits the C3 and does not look like "something off a different "era" car. The Lexus or Mercedes wheels, first of all, don't have metal spokes, they have air bags and most (if not all) have either leather or rubber mixed in with the wood design. Again, if you're happy then and show us pics when installed.
Looks pretty good to me......no one's going to see the "dash side" anyway....unless it's a Balinese monkey carver inspector...
...Personally, I have my heart set on an original Motion steering wheel....your Grant wheel is pretty close.....but if I ever find one, I'm pretty sure it'll cost me more than $100......
