According to this (looking for a TYZ suffix) you have a block that was born in 1975 as a 165Hp 350 that was originally built for C-10 to 2500 trucks (1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup.
The top number should match the VIN number of the vehicle the engine came out of.
The V means it was built in Flint
0517 means it was built on May 17th
There should be a number cast into the block on the left side, behind the head. That casting number will tell you a little more about it (from what we already know, it will probably only add if it's a 2 bolt of 4 bolt main)
