My brother is doing it right now. He put in a Tremek 500 from Keisler- just finished with the install. He says it's not that hard - but exacting - and you need patience and to follow directions. While the directions for the tranny are good - there isn't any good documentation of the clutch part - and there are alot of parts to fit together - takes a little figuring out. I have tried to get him to take digital photos - but he's an old school guy - fix it and drive it.
For the hole for the shifter he took the interior boot - and moved it around until it looked like thats where it belonged - the shifter comes out almost exactly where the auto trans shifter came from. Then he cut down along the shoulder of the indent (the floor pan has an indented shape that will get in the way). after that he had to use a 6 pound persuasion tool to convince the metal to form up properly - he has a lift so he put 2" steel rod under the car and used it like an anvil. Using the lift he could easily reposition the steel rod.

Thanks, we will give that a look see. Just so frustrating to get an ALL COMPLETE package without template or measurments for cutting the few spots you do need to.
