Default Looking for 383 hood emblems

I know I saw them somewhere but I can't find them now. I would like to put 383 on my hood, I believe the numbers I saw were sold individualy, but I would take 383 already assembled as well. If any of you know where I could get them I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks,
The Iceman
Keith

You should be able to use mopar 383 hood emblems. They're just about the right size.

Hello
I searched the net a little and found some emblems on Mopar websites. The 383 Roadrunner numbers is one possibility.

I also found this reference that I cannot link to.
Corvette Forum - Who is interested in some "383" emblems?
... email me at scott@c3sharktank.com and put "383 emblems" in the subject so I can keep them ... of the 427 emblems on a L-88 hood it would be most ...forums.corvetteforum.com/archive/index.php/t-423413.html - 8k -

It looks like this may have been asked on the Forum and someone already has done this.

I also remember seeing a vendor who sells the individual numers, 0-9, in the correct Chevy font. Several guys here have 502's and they put those numbers on their hoods... Sorry, but I can't recall where I saw them - Zip maybe?

Try Trimparts.com. I got a set for my LPE 383 and they are an exact match for the OE 427/454 number set. Much better than the Dodge badge.
Typical statement when seen by a nubie - "I didn't know Corvettes came with a 383."

Seems like Corvette Central sells individual numbers. They have an on line catalog.

Just ask Bullshark, he had some on his 502 that looked as if the boys in St Louis had put them on themselves.

Bullshark, can you stick on those numbers, or do you have to drill your hood? I thought i've seen some that had tape, and you could stick them on like modern style emblems.

Herb, I have the stick on type.... much easier installation
Make sure you have them positioned where you want them cause you only get one try

There was a member here that made them - once - long ago.
They also made ZZ4,ZZ5 - etc. Might have been Scott at SharkTank - dunno.
