Default Delco, Radiator coolant, Electric Fan & Mount...Corvette?

I picked up this Electric fan at a car show....the guy said he thought it was from a corvette. I didn't realy care if it was or not. I think with a little modification it will fit my 73 corvette set up. It is a delco set up. Does anyone recognize it? I'm going to cut off part of the top mount and fab up an aluminum bottom mount to screw into the shortened lower mount. Anyone got a suggestion for the relay / wiring? Its just a 2 wire fan motor. I've hooked it up to 12 volts and it winds up real smooth. I'de like to hook it up to some kind of thermostat. Maby even figure out an RPM per therm. kind of thing.

It has a nice mount,

That sure looks like the aux factory fan on my 82, I'm looking for links to see if it is. I'll post one if I find it.

This site will give some good advice on how to wire the fans up.

Remember, this is only an auxiliary fan. On my '79, it's designed to come on at 238 degrees or when the A/C is turned on.

Hmmm, I see, The MAD diagram is very helpfull. I havn't paid a lot of attention to the engine compartment wireing except to buy that half of the harness from a 74. Mine was pretty thrashed to the point of pieces missing. I don't have a stock fan or a shroud. With the fan mounted on the radiator housing a shroud wont fit. I have a realy nice flex fan but I don't know what RPM rating it is. I don't realy like running flex fans but I'm not sure if a stocker would be big enough.......I'll look around to see if I can find one. Maby set the fan up to come on at 200 degrees since the thermostate is a 190. Interesting
