Default complete new brakes

I've bought a 1977 vette from an idiot that could not care for a car. The brakes are shot from the master cylinder all the way to the calipers. The master cylinder was DRY when we opened it! The lines have leaks and the calipers are frozen. The rotors are shot from the brake line leaks and the metal biting into them. So, basically what I need is 4 rotors, 4 calipers (4 piston), pads, hard and flexible lines, a master cylinder, and fluid. Where can I get an afordable price on these parts. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Autozone will not have hard lines and the rebuilt stuff can be iffy. So, I would suggest calling Vette Brakes and Products. They are a supporting vendor and they are great. Ask if there is any discount for a forum member. My advice is do this only once- get good parts and replace everything you can get to. BTW, I don't work for VB&P- just a satisfied customer! Have fun

You may want to consider replacing the proportioning valve while your at it. That and the brake booster are the only things you did'nt mention in your rebuild. The booster may not neccessarily need to be replaced but while your replacing the lines you may as well replace the proportioning valve while your at it and be done with it. Keep us posted on your progress and results.

Thanks for the metioning of the proportioning valve. That was something else that I wanted to change, it is evident that the old has gone bad because the front right caliper has worn pads while the left is not that bad. The rear section of the master cylinder has evidently been dry for even longer, because the pads are not even worn! Thanks for the suggestions as I'm sure this will not be a fun job. I've already tried to remove the calipers. No such luck. Thanks anyway.
