Default engine builders

I'm researching these two Companies.

(Shafiroff racing engines) from New York

(Steve Schmidt racing) from Indiana.

Would like to purchase one of their street engines but have no knowledge about either one regarding their warranties , workmanship
customer service etc. If anyone has any experience with either one, or
information about their business practices could you please shARE
this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance

Shafiroff is really good. I have an engine built by them. And my buddy very recently bought a a supercharged 427 small block street motor for his 69 Camaro. That motor is very strong and very streetable even with the auto.
I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.....
