Default Stahl Headers --> Post Some Pictures!

I would really like to see some Stahl headers on your cars. Seems I have seen a few snapshots, but I was hoping for a greater variety of angles, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bryan

Default Stahl Headers

Hi,

I have them on my 420 SBC w/ sidepipes. Unfortunately I can only send images directly to an email address. I must say I did have a horrific time dealing with Jer Stahl but I like the headers once the fitting issues were resolved.

Send a PM if you want the images.

Good Luck!

EXCELLENT Pictures, and that is one sweet setup.

Couple of questions:
1). How was the fitment on your car? Any major tweaks you had to make?
2). Sparkplug removal issues?
3). Tell me a bit more about your side pipe protectors; it's a great look.
4). Mufflers used?

Thanks my man!

Thanks

1.) Overall fitment is great. Passenger side was a straight fit. Although I had to massage the drivers side a bit to clear the then-new Steeroids steering rod. I informed Stahl about this and they said that they were going to look in to it. Not sure if they have or not.

Here's pic showing what I mean:

2.) Last cylinder on drivers side is a bit of struggle to get to. Easiest way to readh is is by jacking the front up and get it from under the car. But I worked out a solution. I made a special tool just for this one spark plug with a long socket welded into a "specially" designed long handle, now they are all easy to get to.

3.) I fab'd the pipes and the covers from SS. I'm not 100% satisfied with the looks and will make another set with a bit of a different design.

Here's the pipes and covers:

4.) As for mufflers I'm using Spiral baffles and I couldn't be happier. They give great value for money, perfomance and sound is great!
