Anything but a Mustang. I'm with you on the gas though. There is no way I could drive my 71 every day. That's why I have a C4.

Currently paying equivalent of $3.40(US) a US gallon here. $3.75 for premium. My daily driver is a 68 Bonneville coupe 400CI/345hp running on LPG (propane to you yanks). It is about half to 1/3 the price of guzoline so it is quite cheap to run (comparatively ) If you set it up to run LPG only it has better performance as well.
Like Europe, we Aussies have always paid more for our fuel than the US, most of the price going to the government in taxes.

it's been 2.19 here constantly. but where i'm moving to, about 10 miles from here, it's commonly 2.05.

I'de glady take it!!

well, that's the advertised price for regular... Havn't looked at what premium is.

My daily driver is a Probe with a japanese engine in it... I just dont like stock engines for some reason!!!

hence the name, swaps!

I (gasp) refinanced the 'Vette, and added the Mustang on to the loan, and actually cut my monthly payment. At $300/mo for gasoline alone, almost anything would have been a relief. . .

. . . hated going into debt further, and ain't a huge 'stang fan, but there's a blue million parts out there, and I can pull the maintenance on it myself.
It's power everything except the engine--the little 88hp, 2.3 is supposed to get 34 mpg, but it's by far the slowest car I've ever owned.
