Hey Norval....
Thank you!!

As for hood I had a small block hood that I built a custom scoop or raised section for because I was running a nitrous big block with a high rise instake and nitrous plate. I just cut this hood.
I can not give you dimensions for cutting the hole but it is easy.
Run strips of masking tape across the hood and unto the fender. Run strips every say 6 inches.
Now cut alone the crease between the fender and the hood. Number each set that you just cut apart. Say 1:1 on one, 2;2 on the next all the way around so you know when you measure at 1 where 1 is on the hood.
Take the hood off, install the motor and when it comes time to cut the hood measure on the first tape from the fender edge to the motor. Mark this length on the first tape on the hood laying on the floor.
Do the same to 2 then 3 and 4 untill you have a series of points on the hood laying on the floor. Mark it tight for the first cut.
Use masking tape over the line to be cut, mark over the top of the tape cut, drill holes in the corners then cut out with a jig saw.
Set the hood over the motor and blower then carefully figure where to want to open the hole up more and remark a new opeining.
You can always cut a few times but adding material is difficult.
Cut carefully, creep up on the final size.
After cutting sand the cut and smooth everything out.
I hope you understand what I was trying to say.
It is not difficult getting a nice tight cut that clears the motor when the hood is opened .
Good luck and if I am confusing I will try agian
