TB Spacer?
I have an older suburban that is great for everything except gas mileage. I'd like to keep it but gas bills are killing me.
I've seen ads for throttle body spacers that claim 10% improvement in gas mileage. Any truth to that claim?

Seems I hear diff opinions from diff people about them for my Sonoma but it seemed all the good opinions came form people with them while the negatives came from those who didn't. Most got them for better throttle responce but a very slight increase in mileage was reported by some. Of course this is a v6 with CFI as opposed to your v8 with TBI so might be bset to try over at soem truck forums, might give you all kinds of helpfull hints on increasing the gas mielage. For reference mine is about 12-14 city and 16-18 e-way, pathetic for 6 cyl.
