Our recently purchased 1980 C3 4sp corvette has just had new bearings all round and new u-joints. After this I felt a little more confident about giving it some gas and not breaking anything!
So here's the problem, under full acceleration the car pulls to the left, when I let off it seems to want to pull to the right.
I've noticed there's a lot of play in the ball joints and the front suspension generally looks in need of a rebuild but is there anything specific that could be contributing to this?
If you had "bearings done all the way around".... they probably removed the trailing arms. Make sure they re-installed & properly tightened the aligment shims & through-bolt at the front of the trailing arms (where the bushing is).
That sure sounds like the t-arm bushings to me. Might as well do the a-frame bushings as well as a front end rebuild as well. That 25 year old rubber doesn't owe you anything anymore.

Okay my mechanic said he did take the rear trailing arms off when he did the bearings and yes the bushings were a little worn but not worthy of being replaced.
So I've ruled that out, Big Fish you say it could be the T-Arm bushings, which are they? If I do a front end rebuild will the rebuild kit include the T Arm and A Arm bushings?

A front end kit would not have bushings for the T-arms (trailing arms)
