BBC Holley street Dominator Intake
Posted this in the engine mods forum also. Anyone know anything, or have an opinion about this intake?
Ran across one for sale in the local paper for $25.00. Curious if this would be a good manifold to use on my 454. I've already latched onto a set of '71 '292 heads that have had a street port job, ARP screw in studs, Manley guide plates, Crane dual valve springs, bronze valve guides, Manley stainless 2.19 intake valves/1.875 exhaust valves. Haven't decided on a cam yet. Will be using headers and an automatic tranny with the proper stall for the cam we select, and a 3.73 rear gear ratio.
The motor is being built for street use only. Hoping for something in the 400 HP range.
Any opinions???
