First of all I apologize for the blurry picture. I'm not much of a photographer and I can't seem to take pictures close up. After the cam swap I was hoping to tune my car a bit. This is a shot of a spark plug after a ride in the car. Its a tan/grey. Is that lean or does it look ok? I actually found a dyno who will rejet my carb but I have to bring the jets. So I was trying to guage what I might need done. Any help is appreciated.
Looks a bit lean. How did you run the car to get this plug like that - idle, cruise or WOT? You could have a good mixture at one setting but really lean at another.
I cruised on the interstate for 15 minutes then did a few wot runs then idled for a minute in the driveway. I'll try again this weekend. I think your right I just looked and the passanger bank was off a half turn from the driver side.
