Air Cleaner Confusion
I hope I'm posting in the correct section. 
What is the correct air cleaner for a 1970 350/300?
Mine has the dual snorkel type, but I have seen a lot of cars on EBay that have this same engine with the open style air cleaner, and the sellers claim that this is correct (of course). I thought the open type were correct for 350/350 engines.
Also, how about the ignition shielding? I have noticed 2 types: one with 3 screws on top, and one with 2 screws on the side. I have the second type.

I just bought a 1972 and it has the dual snorkel air cleaner assembly.
I noticed many owners have put open elements on thiers, and the previous owner has installed that on the car. But he gave me original dual snorkel that is on it now.
I also have the chrome ignitions shielding with a wing nut on the side shielding.
I know you are looking for 1970 cars, but hope that this is a start to some answers.

I have a original Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner Base and the chrom Lid for a Late Edition 1970 350/300HP vette for sale. Also the Crome Distributor
cover as well. In addition I have a 3 Port Washer Pump for a 1970 - 1974 vette that is brand new used for one day before my 5 port was sent out to be rebuilt. if you are interested in these parts let me know.
