Only bolt on exhaust system I have seen comes from Hooker. I bought it at summit. PIA to install but mine has the tranny crossmember with the holes in it for the exhaust. Don't know if your 81 is the same. I don't think so though. System does not come with mufflers. I would recomend Hooker headers if you go this route. I got Dynomax and had problems with the angle not being the same where the collector mates up to the pipe.

Big head exhaust ports require bigger headers like the 1 3/4. I use the Hooker Super comp made for angle plugs and C-3 corvettes. I used to have Hedmans untill I used Thermotech header rap and melted the headers
