just got the 72 back today after being off the road for a month with a full engine rebuild. Picked it up today, and drove through heavy afternoon traffic...then I notice that my temp guage was rising way higher then it should (almost hit 250!!). Upon inspection of my cooling system, I noticed that the seals that surround the radiator and seal it into the brackets, had the better part of an inch of space on each side. Since I'm gonna have to fix this before any extended journeys are taken, does anyone have an idea where I can get the correct seals?
And I thought I wasn't gonna have to fix this car for a little while (like a few months). Foolish me.
DR.Rebuild is the man. His catalog has diagrams that are worth a thousand words. He may be mellowing in his old age, like me. I think other vendors use his stuff.

At least it was fun to drive again.
thanks,

Freshly rebuilt engines usually run hotter until they are broken in.

Also make sure your timing is adjusted correctly on your fresh engine and other stuff like fan shroud, fan clutch, etc.
I went to the Dr. Rebuild website. I like his prices, but his shipping is a little difficult to swallow (I don't mind paying the price if I can't find it anywhere else, but I found these seals at several other places, and I can save up to $10 and get what appears to be the same stuff.) I'm generally not cheap, just trying to be thrifty. Anyways, thanks again to all who made suggestions.
I recently bought a seal kit for my 71 from Zip and was pleased with the quality.
Bought mine from Zip also. Very pleased with the quality and service, and there shipping is very reasonable as well. Usaually I try to buy several things at a time from them to help keep the shipping costs down even further.

Don't base your decision on the prices on the website, they are WAY out of date. I bought a complete seal kit for my 69 which includes the shroud, hood and radiator seals for $42.00.
