Has anyone experience their gauges go to zero when the headlights are on. When dimming the lights all the way off the gaues go back to normal readings, but at night cannot be read. any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

Couple things come to mind, alternator....have it checked for output, and battery...check the condition of the battery...Autozone, Sears can do that

Bad grounds up under the dash, there is a ground wire from both the center bezel and speedo/tach section that has 3 spade plugs on it, black wire, and that goes to the bird cage ground above the driver's kick panel....way up under there, that, and you need check for the grounding to the headlight switch as it's accomplished through a strap tucked up under the switch mounting bolt, inside, underneath the dash...so that bolt needs be secure....there are two similar dah grounding straps but to get to them you need drop the speedo/tach cluster, and that's a PIA....
