Has anyone installed one of these kits on a c-3. You can find them in the Ecklers Catalog. They make good sense but I'm wondering if it is worth the money.

I have one in my car. I ran it for a couple of years before I took the body off. I recommend it. It isolates some of the harshness in the ride upfront. I found that it corners better as well. I have the kit that doesn't replace the lower control arms. I like the fact that I can adjust the ride height and stiffness.
the only reason i wouldnt get it is the fact that you cant use the front cross member as a jacking point. other then that i would use it, but i jack my vette up using the front cross member alot.

That is a fact. Not due to a lack of place to jack but because of a lack of ground clearance after you lower the front.
I have to roll my car up on short ramps to get a jack under it.
I do love the adjustability of the transverse spring.
I recently installed the kit with the lower control arms. I had VB 460 lb springs but the I found with the roads in the north east the ride was to harsh. The traverse kit allowed me to lower the car and adjust the suspension for my needs. The car handles better and the ride is greatly improved. If you go with the traverse kit, remember to replace your shocks with ones tuned for composite springs. I installed Blisten sport shocks with mine. Well work the money.
IF you are at all handy, you can do the job yourself in about 4 hours. Just use caution removing the coil springs. They can cause some serious damage if they are not removed properly.

Thanks for the reply Ron. I am in teh process of takin gthe body off right now. When I am sone every nut and bolt will have been removed and all new suspension will be installed. New motor, trans, interior and paint. I have heard nothing bu tgreat reviews about the mono sping kit for the fronts so I am going to go that route.
I installed the VBP front kit and rear fiberglass spring this winter. It was a fairly easy swap out. Can't speak to how it's different yet, as I've still got the interior apart and not yet on the road.
