Sputtering question?
Recently had new right side exhaust manifold installed and idle adjusted down and now the "74 BB sputters when at low RPM's, no problem at all after you give it a little gas. Could adjusting the idle do this, heat riser sticking, looking for answers.

Absolutely adjusting idle can cause sputtering. The transition from the idle circuit must be smooth. Did you adjust the A/F ratio also, or just lower the idle? When idling, when the car starts to stumble, work the accelerator pump manually. If it gets better, you need to richen it up. If it stumbles worse, lean it out.
