Whats My Gear Ratio w/37 teeth??
I have the original gears for my LS5 that has 37 teeth on the ring and 11 teeth on the pinion. What is this original gear ratio??? 3.36, 3.55, etc??
Any help would be great if you know and also the car currently has 4.11's in it with P255/60/15's and I need the correct speedo gear to get the speedo right, any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

I'm going to take a stab at the speedo#. I think you have an 8 tooth drive gear. So with your info, I come up with a 25t driven gear would be required. You really should remove the speedo cable/drive and count your current gear counts first. Then repost this info. There's another post going with this type of info already with a link with a gear calculator that will help further.

Try this link, it's been going on for a few days. He's got some good pictures of what your looking for. Your going to have to jack up the car a few feet to get access. Use jack stands also. There's some other good info here.

I changed mine & it was pretty easy. I was told each additional tooth will lower the speedo 5 mph. I assumed this was at 60 mph. I had changed to 3.70 gears & it was about 10 mph fast. I removed the gear & replaced with 2 more teeth. It`s much more accurate. I doubt that it`s perfect but close enough.
