Default need quick answer

since I'm replacing my solid aluminum body mounts (on a 71) to new polyurethane mounts from Energy Suspensions, will I need longer bolts? Or will the stock body mount bolts work?

Stock should work, as you are not or at least should not be changing the height of the body in relation to the frame from solid to poly mount.

I thought that the later year body mounts were 3/8" lower on the frame, hence if you install those in your 71 the body will be 3/8" higher then what it is now. That effects things like the steering shaft alignment.

I would like to replace my discs with a neoprene disc that is identical in size to the aluminium discs. It might have to be slightly higher to allow for compression when the body is on.

IMO - You are gonna need new (longer) bolts.
Here are a few pics to convince you:
Aluminum thickness:

Poly thickness:

I don't recall the length of the originals in the 70, but you
will need 3" or so for the poly mounts.

Looking at #1 in the pictures above, the sandwiched poly would
originally be the 3/8" aluminum puck. Under the bracket, there
were a couple of washers - that's it. So, the difference in overall
length is over an inch. Expect the body to sit about 1/2-5/8"
higher off of the frame than previously. Definitely a good mod -
looking at the corroded aluminum that I pulled.
