incredible vibration found!!!!!!!!
check this out....remember last weekend i was trying to get my timing set up to the 20+16+16 specs....and i kept getting a funny vibration that i couldn't figure out.....i attributed it to the changes i was making and in reality it had nothing to do with my changes. it was just the corvette gods toying with me....
If you can't see it the fan clutch shaft is off center and loose and there are ball bearings missing!!!
i gotta stop spending money on this thing....its not driving me to the poor house...i'm pushing it to the poor house
I know what you mean...Sometimes I think I work just to support my vette habit
Here try this one...Show the little lady the tread about the wing nut and then say " See.. if a wing nut costs that much, imagine how much this fan is gonna cost.. Why I bet I could get the dual spals for at least a couple of hundred dollars cheaper"

here's a cheaper alternative that moves a ton of air. Well, the 16" moves 2950 cfm to be exact. Kept my383 cool in FL heat with only a 4 row copper radiator.

At the good guys show last weekend, I picked up a 16" Zirgo 3650 CFM for 85.00 and then another 25 for the relay/temp sensor kit. Can't wait to get it running again!

Thanks for the info!
I've been considering going to an electric fan because my thermostatically controlled clutch fan is LOUD. However it does a great job helping to cool my engine. I haven't had any cooling problems with my stroker motor since I installed it in 2001.
