Do you have the vette on the road ?
Is the relay accessible ?
OR ... can you take the relay out ?
I would remove and connect 12v/GND to the control terminals
and use a DVM to measure the contact resistance between the
load carrying terminals. You could also do this in the car and using
the PW switch. At the same time, you could check that the switch
is operating (12v across control terminals).
If you want, I could take a look at it with you - here in Burlington.
I'm an electrical engineer and have lots of nice equipment we
could use.

Thanks Dave, but I figured out my problem. I recently installed power windows using a wiring harness from a 77. since my fuse box does not have a fuse or connector for the power window curcuit, I hooke the main lead through a fuse to the horn relay. I figured it would be nice to have the windows work off the battery. The problem is the battrey goes dead after about a week. I think the relay is drawing current all the time killing the battery. Looks like I will have to find a switched source to connect to .
