Default Aftermarket Auto Shifter Install

What after market brand of auto shifter seems to fit well in the stock C3 console with minimal modifaction? I'm looking at a B&M star shifter or a Mega. Would prefer something with a button (for NOS).

I am very interested in this topic as well! I am after a ratchet shifter and would also prefer to leave the console alone as much as possible. Pics would be great.

The problem with aftermarket shifters is the throw is too long or the frame of the shifter is too high for our consoles. Meaning you will either have to modify the console plate or the shifter frame to make them fit. I always wondered why they don't make one for an exact fit. Anyway here's mine

I've got a Hurst Quarter-Stick to install. If any of you have done this, please post pics and information as to how you did it. The biggest interferance I see is the heater controls. I plan to make my own console, so exact fit with stock console is not an issue. Thanks!

Looks awesome. Can you share any more about what you did to make it fit?
